Post Treatment Tanks

There are two types of Post Treatment tanks we provide :

Quenching Tank

Passivation Tank

Quenching Tank

A quenching tank is a crucial component in heat treatment processes, used to rapidly cool heated metals and alloys by immersing them in a cooling medium such as water, oil, or specialized fluids. This rapid cooling enhances the hardness, strength, and other mechanical properties of the material, ensuring uniform cooling to prevent stresses and distortions.

In industrial applications, quenching tanks are used in metalworking, steel production, aerospace, and the automotive industry. They treat components like gears, shafts, engine parts, and steel products, ensuring they meet stringent performance and durability standards. Quenching tanks are vital for achieving desired material properties in various high-stress applications.

Passivation Tank

A passivation tank is a specialized vessel used in the chemical treatment process known as passivation, which enhances the corrosion resistance of metal surfaces. Metals are immersed in solutions like nitric or citric acid to remove contaminants and promote the formation of a protective oxide layer, thereby preventing further oxidation and extending the metal’s lifespan.

In industrial applications, passivation tanks are essential for treating stainless steel in industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace to improve resistance to rust and corrosion. They are also used for medical devices, electronics, and automotive parts, ensuring durability and reliability in various high-stress environments.
